Your privacy is very important to the Parolu Foundation. That’s why we abide by privacy laws. This means your personal information is safe with us and that we won’t abuse them. We’d like to inform you about what we do with your data at our website https://parolu.org and with your personal data in relation to our services.
The Parolu Foundation is the party responsible for all data processing. In this privacy statement, we will explain which personal data we collect and for which purposes. We recommend that you read it carefully.

We process the following personal data:
By creating an account
Name and surname, country of residence and email address. In case you are registering as a company, we also ask the company name. In case you are registering as a volunteer we could ask you additional information that is relevant for the task (for example: birthdate, gender, age, ID and bank account). In case of a candidate / student, we will, besides all information that is already mentioned in this paragraph, also ask financial information in order to determine if the candidate needs our help.
By Contact Form and Subscription based channels
Name and surname, residence address, country, IP-address, email address and in some cases also your phone number. In case you are registering as a company, we also ask your company name.
About your surfing behaviour:
IP-address, cookie ID, surfing behaviour and statistic information during the use of the website.
Handling your order
Payment details, name and surname, full address and country, phone number, email address and IP-address. In case you like to receive an invoice (usually for business purpose) we also need and use your company related information (such as company name, VAT number, number of chamber of commerce etc.).
Additional information concerning opinions and user experiences:
Occasionally we can ask you your opinion about the Parolu Foundation, her websites, her products and her services. Your answers will only be used to improve our website, our products and services and to better meet your wishes and needs.
Why and how do we process this personal data?
During the processing, we conform to the requirements of the applicable data protection legislation. This means we:

We process your personal data for the following purposes:
Statistics and profiling
We keep statistics on the use of our website using Google Analytics and Foxxl solution tools. These statistics help us to improve our website and is used for only showing you information that is relevant to you. We do not provide this data to other Google services or parties.
For this purpose, we use your IP-address, location and cookie ID. Your IP address will be anonymized after each session. We will, of course, respect your privacy at all times.
Contact Form and Subscription based channels
You can use our contact form to ask us questions or to place an request.
To do so, we need your name and surname, full address and country, IP-address, email address and in some cases also your phone number. If you are representing a company, we also ask the company name. We hold onto this information until we’re sure that you’re satisfied with our response and six months thereafter. This allows us to easily access the information in case you have any following questions and it may help us to train our customer service team.
We also have Subscription based channels to inform those interested in our products and/or services. Each email in this channels will contain a link to unsubscribe yourself from our newsletter. Your email address is only added to our list of subscribers with your permission. We store this information up to 6 months after you deleted your subscription.
Providing to Third Parties
We do not under any circumstance provide your personal data to other companies or organisations, unless we are required so by law (for example, when the police demands access to personal data in case of a suspected crime).
We placed social media buttons on the website to transfer you directly to the corresponding social media platform. If this makes you uncomfortable, we advise you not to use them.

Other than the advertisements on the website, we can inform you about new products or services:

You can object or cancel at all times against this promotional communication by clicking on the unsubscribe link, which is placed at the bottom of every newsletter. You can also inform us when we call you or after you received a letter from us.
Handling your order or donation
We will use your personal data when handling your subscription and order. For this purpose, we use your payment details, name and surname, full address and country, phone number, email address and IP-address. In case you are representing a company, we also need and use your company related information (such as company name, VAT number, number of chamber of commerce etc.). We have a legitimate interest in doing this. We store this information until your order has been completed and seven years thereafter (this is the legal retention period).
Candidate / Student information
The Parolu Foundation coaches, supports and guides people in both business and personal growth. If you attend and follow one of our programs, that may include online training, real life training, coaching or counselling sessions, we might ask personal information about your life, (financial) situation, competences etc. During the conduction of these services, additional personal information may be collected with regard to personal issues, problems, thoughts, opinions, capacities, competencies and private situations. This information is never shared with third parties without the express permission of the parties involved.
Marketing
At The Parolu Foundation, we like to stay on top of marketing. That’s why we like to recruit new customers, lecturers for our services, events, experts for our inspirational sessions and sometimes even new colleagues. We process their personal data in order to stay in contact with them. This personal data includes any preferences, which you can at any change at any time using the ‘email preferences to’ link in every mail.
Cookies
Our website uses so called “Session cookies”. Cookies are small files in which we can store information, so that you do not have to fill out that information again. We can also use them to see whether you are visiting us again.
